2004-01-18 Branch builds
- Fixed on trunk and branch: on Linux, clicking in the url bar should not highlight the text
- Continued regression: 229600 - Installing 2 extensions without restarting re-launches extension-installer for previous installed extensions.
- Installer problem: 228672 - Installer deletes any non-Firebird files in the installation directory (if you check the "Clean Install" box, which is unchecked by default on the branch)
No official Windows build.

“on Linux, clicking in the url bar should not highlight the text” : couldn’t it be configurable on Windows too ? ’cause if you just want to edit an URL you have to click once, wait a while, then re-click where you want to edit. A bit annoying …
(I hope I don’t repeat what’s already said in a forum here as I didn’t search them for that topic.)

The main purpose for that is cause in the Linux OS highlight = copy. It’s to prevent people from clearing out their clipboard cause they where just trying to type in a URL. I know I get hit with that a lot myself.
I’d prefer it to keep highlighting the whole toolbar on the windows platform. 9 times out of 10, when I hit Control-L, I’m typing a whole new URL.
