Jesse, How close does it appear we are getting to the .8 release? Any estimate as to when it will be released? I am waiting to transition some family members until the .8 installer version is out. Just wondering. Thanks.

There are exactly two blocking0.8+ bugs:

http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205708
Beyond that, I don’t know.

205708 is blocking 0.8 , yet it’s targeted for 0.9. I don’t get it. :-)

Now that Mozilla 1.6 is out, there should be temporarily more developers and time available for the 0.8 branch of Moz FB. My guess is that it will be out quickly.

Maybe the target milestone is 0.9 because Ben checked in a temporary fix:

Ok, make that one 0.8 blocker.
That’s what happens when people morph bugs :P
