2004-02-11 Trunk builds

  • Fixed: rename to Firefox (from branch)
  • Fixed: add credits to About (from branch)
  • Fixed: 230768 - New download should flash taskbar icon 2 times if download window is open, but not focused.
  • Fixed: 232798 - Crash on clicking link in popup window [@ OnLinkClickEvent::HandleEvent]

Unofficial builds don't have the new icons and artwork. I don't know whether official builds will. (There weren't any official builds today.)

  • Continued regression: 232617 - Location Bar dropdown loads new tab.

Windows builds: stipe's O2 builds: G6, G6 SSE, G7, G7 SSE

    This Feb. 10th version, for OSX (10.3.2) exits immediately with the error message so often asked about in Apple’s Discussion forums that begins:
    Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)
    Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE (0x0002) at 0x0000000090

    I just opened the Sunday Feb. 8th Firefox 0.8, which came back up flawlessly.

    I think this release has a bigger problem with tabs than just the one regression mentioned. Several times I have clicked on links and they’ve opened simultaneously in the current tab and a new tab.
