A quick question, Jesse: why do Peter(6)’s build tracking threads on MozillaZine show so many more regressions and bugs than your blog?

http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/faq.html
“How do you decide which regressions to list on The Burning Edge?
The main factors are my judgment of severity, my judgement of how many people are affected, how quickly the regression was recognized, and the number of votes divided by the age of the bug.”

Anyone else missing their Tooltips all the sudden?

Sorry – I didn’t realize that I had an extension installed previously.
This seems dangerously pedantic, but whatever:

I have updated my “Burning Edge”-like blog for Thunderbird.
Do feel free to post any comments you have, or any suggestions for its name.

i guess Jesse is still busy with moving or he is already at work for IBM and hasn`t time to update this.
Or he used the branch and sudenly his head explode.
No not because of the new Theme, but because everybody seems to be flamming about at Mozillazine.
Okay, everybody who isnt a troll or naiv enough to be tricked by the way Arvid did what he did might just given up after page 4 or 5 of the thread. Anyways I beginn to wonder what is happening lately, /. is now nerly owned by trolls (the comments section). And now Mozillazine goes down the drain, too. Outch, I got off topic a bit.

Forgot serious information:

In Austin
Posting from work ;)
I’m in Austin now. I’m doing well except for two things: it gets very hot outside, and I might not have (fast) Internet access in my apartment for two more weeks. I’m still trying to find a roommate.

oo well thats makes sense, no big deal i think im gonna wait until .9 final comes out to try a new build, the last couple didnt seem to be that great

If anyone can show me the methods that he uses to find the regressions and bug fixes for each build and all of that jazz, I could set up a temporary site that covers it during times when he’s away, since he seems reluctant to turn over the keys to his own site (can’t blame him).

Read the FAQ at http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/faq.html to find out how he finds the regressions and fixes. I don’t think really need a temporary site, Peter6’s threads are alright over at mozillazine and Jesse got his cable internet back today so I suspect we’ll see an update within the next few days.
