2004-06-24 Trunk builds
Fixes for regressions:
- Fixed: 246923 - links in nested frames fail if same-origin check fails.
Fixes for other bugs:
- Fixed: 247322 - Able to install incompatible extensions, causing subsequent startup woes.
- Fixed: 245734 - Able to install extension into wrong application.
- Fixed: 246719 - Make link modifiers work consistently throughout Firefox.
- Fixed: Make middlemouse.contentLoadURL work on Windows.
You can now use link modifiers in many places in the browser UI, such as the back button and Go menu items. Shift opens a new window, Ctrl or Middle opens a new tab, and Alt saves. Ctrl+clicking or middle+clicking a UI link selects the new tab (since you're unlikely to continue reading the current tab after opening a URL from the UI), but you can make it leave the current tab selected by holding Shift or by setting the hidden pref browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground to true.
Regressions:
- Since ~June 10: 246168 - [Linux] '-remote "openURL(<url>, new-tab)"' no longer works
- Since ~June 2: 245327 - theme switch clears all tabs, disables their history, can't close these tabs.
- Since May or June: 246687, 246658, 248013 - Firefox startup gets stuck at "Finishing Extension Installation" for various reasons. (Workaround: run "firefox.exe -no-extensions" and disable the extension responsible, or delete the extensions subdirectory of your profile.)
Official Windows, Official Windows installer, stipe's O2 G7 SSE (discussion)
No official Linux builds.

You mean “Ctrl+clicking or middle+clicking a *BM* link selects the new tab …” (BM = Bookmarks Manager). Or I missed something …
Anyway, once you know it, it’s pleasing to say the least. Thanks for this addition !

(I just realized that I made a test with my current copy that is simply Fx 0.9 . I really missed something :-/ Sorry for the hasty comment.)
