I tried using Live Bookmarks with Asa’s blog and now Firefox crashes on startup. Gah.

  2. Cell Says:

Blarg, is this from all the recent checkins? :( Gotta love how each fix causes problems. Not cool. :(

Now that Branch builds are showing up, bangbang023 does O2 GL7 SSE2 builds of Branch.

    Thread is http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=62390

  4. Jesse Ruderman Says:

Oops. I blame 250395 for making me forget to check the unofficial builds forum ;)

I posted two posts down about keeping the fayt as-is, but now my post has been deleted. What did I do wrong that it was deleted? Something I’m missing? Let me know please. Thanks.

I didn’t delete any posts from http://www.squarefree.com/burningedge/archives/000494.html. I only closed it to new comments (because it looked like discussion was continuing at http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=96481).

Anyone else seing that the Page Info looks weird? It resizes in a strange way, cutting of the bottom.

  8. Michal Apel Says:

Can I just copy the bug250180.js file from the xpi in the Firefox defaults/pref dir (as this seems to be the only thing the install.js does)? Just making sure this fixes the bug as it would make an easy deployment possible.

  9. MozJF Says:

Blocker bug 250395 had been marked as duplicate of bug 250488

  10. Michael Apel Says:

OK, I just verified it against the testcase in the bug. Just copying the file does indeed fix the issue.

    >>I didn’t delete any posts

I would swear I read it inline after posting. Too many vicodins…

  12. lokean Says:

Please note that the security update is only for Windows. Linux and Mac are safe from this exploit!

  13. Jesse Ruderman Says:

Thanks lokean, I edited the post to make that more clear.

Since July 8: 250395 – “Open in Tabs” in a bookmarks folder no longer works.

does the official (.zip) 0.9.2 have this bug too ?
i installed it and couldn’t open bookmarks in tabs. i went back to 0.9.1 (+ security patch) and it worked again …

  15. BigFire Says:

The official 0.9.2 is technically pre 07-07-04 code. It does not have the problem with open in tabs.
