2004-07-10 Branch builds

Find Toolbar fixes:

  • Fixed: Move Find toolbar to the bottom of the screen.
  • Fixed: Add a pref to start FAYT just by typing (old behavior).
  • Fixed: 250461 - Find Toolbar auto close behavior does not quite work as expected.
  • Fixed: 250292 - First use of "Find Next" or "Find Previous" causes Find toolbar to disappear.
  • Fixed: 250407 - Find doesn't work in Full Screen mode.
  • Fixed: 250463 - Find toolbar timeout steals focus from other windows.
  • Fixed: F3 doesn't work properly.
  • Fixed: Find toolbar conflicts with print preview mode.
  • Fixed: 176177 - History, Bookmarks and Highlight buttons don't have a pressed state in WinXP Luna.

Livemarks fixes:

  • Livemark crash fix.
  • Don't allow bookmarks to be moved into livemark folders.
  • Most robust feed detection.

Other fixes:

  • Fixed: 250286 - [Windows, Mac] Search should be Ctrl+E, not Ctrl+K.
  • Fixed: 192624 - Empty bookmark folders should show '(Empty)'.
  • Fixed: Move mail/news menu items down.

Regressions:

  • Since July 8: 250488 - "Open in Tabs" in a bookmarks folder no longer works.
  • Since July 8: 250423 - Window titlebar sometimes fails to update to page title when browsing/creating tabs.
  • Since May 18: 248423 - config.trim_on_minimize no longer works.
  • Since ~June 2: 245327 - theme switch clears all tabs, disables their history, can't close these tabs.
  • Since ~March 15 or ~June 8 (???): 246078 - URLs from other apps result in two Firefox windows or a window and an error dialog.

Windows builds: Official Windows, Official Windows installer (discussion), bangbang's O2 G7 SSE2, stipe's O2 G7

Linux builds: No official Linux builds.

Mac builds: Official Mac

    RSS headlines morphed in bookmarks.
    Click on the lightning symbol at the bottom left of a Burning Edge page and you’ll see.

    Props for Livemark — it’s a nearly perfect use of RSS feeds for people who prefer websites.
