Anyone can tell me why the “Check for Updates..” menu item is removed again? Is Joe User supposed to click on the big empty statusbar area all by him self or should he just trust the background updates

Check for updates – Ben said in the checkin comments he plans to have once/day updates.
and the only TB I can think of is Thunderbird (but that doesn’t fit with the context)

The showstopper Bug 250488 should be fixed in tomorrow’s build.

Is the “open blocked pop-up” feature supposed to work yet? I just grabbed today’s nightly build, and all that happens (it seems) when I ask for a blocked popup to be opened is Firefox blocking it again.

Oh, and is the SessionSaver extension included by default, or have I installed it with no apparent traces on my system (and none in the Extensions dialogue)?

Fix for bug 250448 was checked into the branch 2004-07-14 12:17. Just barely missed yesterday’s build, but should be fixed in today’s.
Also, Jesse you should change the sidebar “Fx checkins” link to point at branch “AVIARY_1_0_20040515_BRANCH”, not “HEAD”, if you’re going to be following the branch here.

Joe – that sounds like the extension is still floating around in your profile. A re-install should make it show up again.
