bug 256048 (the clean up button icon) doesn’t actually appear to be fixed (at least not on Windows)

  2. tom rioux Says:

The bookmarks cannot be dragged to locations that we want them. If they are set they seem to forced to stay that way. Some folders I want higher up than others and I like to be able to drag them there.

    Thx,
    tom

    I’m using
    Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041003 Firefox/0.10

Checking for updates, it tells me it’s really important for me to download the new 1.0PR.

Isn’t that all so, like, last week?

  4. Jesse Ruderman Says:

Tom: I don’t understand your complaint. Can you be more specific and/or give steps to reproduce?

Hank: That is strange. Maybe the critical-update notification doesn’t know which nightlies already have the security fix that went into 0.10.1.

  5. Jugalator Says:

Jesse, he’s saying bookmark folders can’t be dragged in the bookmark menu.

  6. José Jeria Says:

Dragging folders works fine for me with this build. Hold down shift when you drag them. Also dragging around bookmarks work.

  7. stefko Says:

PR 0.10.1, Address Bar fail to change to yellow when viewing secure sites!

  8. Jugalator Says:

    Oh, I see…

But why do you have to hold down shift when dragging folders and not bookmarks? It seems inconsistent.

  9. hank Says:

Checked again this morning, OSX build, and the updater still tells me I really need to update to version 1.0 for security — so I guess the updater as Jesse says isn’t aware.

Maybe fine, people downloading nightlies aren’t the group the Updater should be protecting here — but I don’t know the design intention.
