Bug 301183 has been reopened, because the icon for prompt dialogs should apparently contain a lowercase i, rather than a question mark, according to Microsoft documentation.

  2. Sunwolf Says:

Is anyone else getting an error that opens up the search box when you hit ‘ ? The apostrophe. It’s bugging me.

  3. Weston Says:

To Sunwolf, I don’t think I’ve had that error, although I’m not completely sure what you’re saying. I did have a problem where I copied a link, pasted it in the address bar and only an apostophe was pasted, instead of link. However, I pasted the link again and it worked correctly.

Has anyone else had the problem with CPU usage going to 100% while viewing cookies with the cookies viewer maximized? It doesn’t do this when the window is normal size.

  4. Jugalator Says:

Yes, Sunwolf, I get that occasionally too, and also asked on the Mozillazine forums for a bug number if anyone happened to have it nearby, but I think no one replied.

It happens when I type ‘ in text boxes, opening the quicksearch box instead of typing the letter.

Other aspects of the browser may behave irrationally while this bug is in effect too, and I often have to close the browser to restore the correct state.

I have no idea what triggers it, really.

  5. Jugalator Says:

I have that bug mentioned above now. Another symptom is that without any form element focus, you still cant use your up and down arrows to scroll the page vertically.

  6. Jugalator Says:

I think I found the bug Sunwolf and I are experiencing:
    https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258285

I think I’ll vote for and follow this one. It’s been bugging ( :p ) me for quite a while now, and not even too uncommon for me.
