Exciting new stuff:

  • Fixed: 299507 - Automatic Update options dialog contains too much text.

Fixes:

  • Fixed: Ensure registry.dat exists before trying to open it (followup to bug 247427).
  • Fixed: 151188 - [FreeBSD only?] Pid-signature on profile lock not unique (was: No option to ignore profile lock), results in "profile is in use" message after crash.
  • Fixed: 249883 - Do not open sidebar if panel content to fill it does not exist (e.g. after uninstalling an extension).
  • Fixed: 191642 - Lots of missing keyboard accelerators (accesskeys) in Options window.
  • Fixed: 277553 - Clicking on Textarea with a RTL direction doesnt work.

Regression fixes:

  • Fixed: XML error in prefs window; advanced prefs broken (since Aug 2).
  • Fixed: 295673 - Cannot scroll using keyboard when div with overflow:auto and padding has focus.
  • Fixed: 288789 - BiDi - In an RTL textbox, caret moves to wrong position when using arrow keys to move into a line containing LTR text.
  • Fixed: 301516 - Fastback breaks history.back().
  • Fixed: 285445 - Bottom of vertical scroll bar is cut when opening a second tab (new tab causes tab bar to shift page down).
  • Fixed: 290991 - Navigating to a slow loading page causes thick gray "bar" on the bottom of the page above the status bar when the notification bar is present.

Security fixes:

  • Fixed: 302489 - Security hole.

Major regressions since Deer Park Alpha 2:

  • Since July 31: 303267 - Back/Forward break JavaScript.
  • Since July 31: 302885 - Can't type into rich text editor, designMode not working anymore.
  • Since July 26: 302667 - Unfocused tabs cannot be reordered with a single click.
  • Since July 26: 302281 - [Linux] Open links from external applications always opens link in new window.
  • Since July 26: 302136 - Two clicks on "Install Now" button are necessary to install an extension.

    I’m still getting undefined entity errors all over the show. Could this be because I use a localised version?

    Although having bug 277553 fixed is certainly exciting (at least for me), I think one appearance on the list (under “Fixes”) should be enough :-)

    I’m not sure this is the right place to discuss this but i couldn’t find a better place…

    Am I the only one who think that the article length in feedview should be controlled as seen in this screenshot? (by 3 boxes instead of a slider)

    When I read a feed I dont want to control exactly how many letters should be shown. But I need a quick way to show only the titles, to show the titles and some of the text or to show the title and all of the text.

    Well, that’s my thoughts… Anyone else sharing them? :)
