2005-08-19 Branch builds
Fixes:
- Fixed: 257854 - [Mac] OS X disk images should include an installation background. (Note: you won't notice this in nightlies because they don't have Firefox branding enabled.)
- Fixed: 283598 - [Mac] Give the firefox .dmg a nice icon.
- Fixed: 302080 - [Mac] Opening disk image should display a EULA.
- Fixed: 305002 - Array.every should return |true| on empty arrays.
- Fixed: 305067 - When the extension datasource has incorrect app disabled data it should be possible to enable a compatible extension that has been app disabled. (This fixes a regression where sometimes extensions would be disabled with no way to re-enable them, e.g. when jumping between trunk and branch.)
- Fixed: 299992 - Allow glue-finding code to specify additional features such as toolkit=gtk2 and xulrunner=true.
Fixes for regressions:
- Fixed: 304608 - Automatic app update updates to trunk. (Server-side fix.)
- Fixed: 303288 - Advanced > Updates > Extensions > Check now opens extension manager without close button.
- Fixed: 304759 - Avoid link map maintenance when tearing down document.
- Fixed: 303809 - Edit styles bookmarklet not working anymore, getting permission denied error.
- Fixed: 303765 - Repeatable crash while manually refreshing Gmail during automatic refresh (XPCWrappedNative stuff).
- Fixed: 303981 - Crash after following javascript link to open new window.
Fixes for security holes:
- Fixed: 304886 - Regression and potential security hole.
- Fixed: 304459 - Object.prototype leaks from document to document after splitwindow changes.
No major regressions since Deer Park Alpha 2.

Is it just me, or does the RSS link for the feed (the comments one shows up normally) not work properly?
Is it supposed to show up like how the comments show up, all nice and pretty, or all ugly and textish like it does?

DLR, RSS Prettyprinting is going to be removed pretty soon, but that icon will stay.

is the inability to right click the rss icon and add live bookmarks not considered a regression?

“supposed” to be able to right click the rss button in the address bar, but for some reason you cannot.

OSX, both Aug. 19th and Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050820 Firefox/1.0+
Letting the app create a new profile
It comes up with an Installer, then just opens a disk image.
The Firefox opens but there are no Preferences available, just a blank window when I try Prefs.
Was able to drop back in my bookmarks from backed up profile, but not get rid of the default prefs the app comes with.
No good.

Weird.
Long post here in case it means anything to someone, not sure what’s up. Tried yesterday’s and today’s nightlies, 19th and 20th, Weirdness, New profile didn’t help.
I found I had a bunch of the Profile components somehow at the root level of OSX (looked because I kept getting the message that Firefox was already open, although Force Quit couldn’t find it, and the problem survived rebooting OSX.
I trashed them all, emptied the trash, rebooted, trashed the Firefox folder from Application Support, downloaded the app again
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050820 Firefox/1.0+
New profile.

Tried adding extensions:
AdBlock will install; Aardvark just blinks.
Preferences has the icons across the top but a blank window, can’t change anything.
Oh well.
