2004-07-24 Branch builds

  • Fixed: 213186 - Change "Cookies are delicious delicacies." to something more informative.
  • Fixed: 217664 - Ability to use same proxy for all protocols.
  • Fixed: 231393 - Tab URL does not persist on bad links if tabs switched. (The ideal fix is to switch from error dialogs to error pages, but error pages won't be the default in Firefox 1.0.)
  • Fixed: 226491 - [Windows] Need to build a Progressmeter that supports undetermined mode.
  • Fixed: 247011 - Cookies UI is not gray when "Enable cookies" is disabled.
  • Fixed: 220681 - New window uses small icons even though original window has large icons.
  • Fixed: 247054 - Crash when clicking Options -> Downloads in Option Dialog.
  • Fixed: Update Find toolbar icons (again).
  • Since July 24: 246078#c156 - URLs from other apps result in Firefox opening a PDF. (The PDF is the first hit on Google for "StartDDE".)

    In OS X clicking on the Firefox icon in the dock when there are no windows open doesn’t open a new window. Can anyone confirm this?

    amake: I am not affected by the OS X issue you mention – it works perfectly fine for me.

    On the other hand, do you experience the issue I wrote about at MozillaZine Firefox Bugs: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=105192

    If you do experience this problem let me know.
