Beerware code in Mozilla

I read about Poul-Henning Kamp's Beerware License in a comment on Simon Willison's blog. The license is very short and very free:

/*
 * ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
 * "THE BEER-WARE LICENSE" (Revision 42):
 * <phk@FreeBSD.ORG> wrote this file. As long as you retain this notice you
 * can do whatever you want with this stuff. If we meet some day, and you think
 * this stuff is worth it, you can buy me a beer in return. Poul-Henning Kamp
 * ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
 */

Kamp's page mentions that "netscape used my malloc implementation". I searched Mozilla's lxr for the license and found it intact above Mozilla's malloc implementation.

    Jesse,

    I’m sure anyone who meets Kamp, will be more than happy to buy a beer or two for him. Plus beer+mozilla+coding will make a good cocktail :)

    While we’re on both the subjects of PHK and webhosts, it’s interesting that pair Networks donated US$20025 to PHK’s fundraising effort that allowed him to work full time on FreeBSD development. Pretty cool, I think. :)

    Since HTML is stripped out of Jesse’s blog comments, relevant links are here:
